OK, I let Laura the Crazy Mama interview me just for fun. Here are the rules:
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me".
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. (I get to pick the questions). 3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions. 4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post. 5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. Here are the 5 questions with my answers... 1. If you had unlimited funds and time, what new skill would you pursue?
I'm tempted to write about my pursuing my dream job, but since I have unlimited funds I don't need to worry about that anymore. Let's see, my biggest problem around here is that people don't like to listen to me. For as far back as I can remember I've been the sort of person who talks and gets listeners only about half the time. I would like to learn how to have a more commanding, yet gentle personality. Either that or I'd learn how to sing.
2. If you could have one, material possesion magically poof into your house RIGHT NOW, what would it be?
Tough one because right now I feel that I have everything I have ever needed/wanted and more. My fabulous husband built me this beautiful house which is very liveable and easy to clean. I guess I would like to have a paved driveway and maybe some grass.
3. When you met your husband was it "love at first sight" or did you grow to love him?
Both. I was enthralled by him, partly because he had that commanding presence that I talked about in #1. He walked into the party and everybody seemed to know him and want to hear what he had to say. Stupid me broke up with him after a couple of weeks though, and then I got an opportunity to fall in love with him all over again. Of course that wasn't really love - not like the love I feel today!
4. Have you ever snorkled?
In January of 2006 we had an opportunity to go on a cruise to the western Carribean, and I managed to snorkle for just a few minutes off the coast of Mexico. Oh, and I think I snorkled off the gulf coast of Florida too, but I just can't remember.
5. What was the worst pain you've ever experienced?
I'm really a wimp, and the worst pain ever was in childbirth. Probably with #2 because they gave me an epidural and it only took on one side. It seemed that all the pain was just concentrated down my right leg and it was nearly unbearable. I love hearing about natural childbirth and homebirth, but I just can't imagine enduring any more pain than I already have.

Great to get to know you a bit better Vicki. I think I would love a go at this. Please interview me.

Ooooo, good answers! I had the 'epi only worked on one side' thing with my number two, too! I never snorkled, though.
